Chapter 117: 117. Mine

Derek was still on phone, chatting with the inspector general and the team members in Dotan. They tried justifying their reason for asking for an additional two weeks.

Their reason was to do an intensive and thorough investigation in those two weeks to be sure they didn't overlook anything. Derek was not in agreement at first, but he decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Two weeks was not that far from coming so they would wait to see.

He saw some messages from Rejoice and sighed. He knew he couldn't keep ignoring her all the time, because doing so would even allow her to keep pestering him. He decided to reply this time since it was a text to ask how he was doing. 

Rejoice who had been checking her phone for the past two hours since she sent a message to Derek, quickly checked her phone when it chimed. Derek and finally replied!! Which meant he was with the phone at the moment.
