Wait a minute... this wasn't her room! She quickly sat up. Where was she? 

"Oh, you're finally awake."

Charlotte whipped her head towards the sound of the voice and saw a beautiful dark-skinned lady smiling at her. She had a tray in her hand, whatever food it was she was serving smelled good.

Then the previous day's events started flooding her memory. Her eyes widened. Her daughter! She came to see her and they said she had been...

"They found Rory." The lady smiled to her when she turned to look at her. She might have read her expression, Charlotte thought. But...

"They... found her?" Charlotte asked to be sure, and the lady nodded.
