Chapter 186: A summons

Savine shook her head and shouted.

"Alright, everyone! We're done for today!"

The five people lying limp around her instantly perked up at the mention of a break. They dragged themselves up and walked home.

As per usual, Savine met Wilfred and Vevian one by one to hear if there was anything new going on. Hearing nothing, she went to her house.

Zuri and her children greeted her. Some life had returned to their eyes after Savine forcibly separated them from the cloak. 

They had it rough for a while, but they were now okay for the most part.

Anyhow, she had some food, gathered some books in her arms, and went up into her room to read some before bed.

Knock! Knock!

Just as she got herself comfy, she heard knocking on the door. Then there were Zuri's footsteps, the opening of a door, and then the muffled voices of Zuri and a man.
