Chapter 82: Adulthood

She went towards the Sovereign's city with light steps, wondering what life would be like in the North. The more she thought about it all, the more she found herself more and more optimistic. Though their duties were heavy, so far, they've never let the northern monsters breach past the barrier. 

But Eliseline knew that their jobs weren't easy. Every mage there needed to be a master of controlling mana, able to very quickly mend any damage that appeared on the barrier. One couldn't say that just because nothing really happened in the north, their lives were easy. The North was a place where talents gathered. 

And when the egos of all these talents clashed, a highly competitive atmosphere was born. Artorius was the duchy with the most competitions and rivalries. It was the place where all the best societies of the world gathered, with something new happening every day.

It felt like Eliseline would fit right in such a place.
