"That is going to be hard"

Challan's face was stiffened.

I could guess how uncomfortable it must be for him if he was making that kind of face despite knowing what was at stake.

"There's only one way to get runes in this continent and the Druid association has monopolized that single way. 

"What if we are willing to pay them?"

"Runes are priceless -and those guys are a proud bunch... There's a lot tied to this."

"I think by a lot you mean your past?"

He looked at me and lowered his eyelids. 

It was getting awkward.

"How about Rogath and I just try to buy it from them without having to involve you or him."

Uncle Kjorr suggested, seeing the direction the atmosphere was drifting towards, he was indeed a quick-witted human.

"But wouldn't that risk exposing Rogath? A dwarf in this side of the continent will not cause some kind of trouble for him?"
