Chapter 189: Rebuke

 "You have been acting strange since I returned." 

 "And our are you able to tell? Aren't you blind?" Marie Claude replied to Moysant and crossed one leg over the other while she closed her eyes. 

 "Kar'rie told me about the vampires. Your brothers, they attacked the city." Moysant continued but with no response from Marie Claude. 

 "Are you hurting because you will have to choose between us and your real family?" 

Marie Claude did not respond but her brows furrowed slightly. 

 "I'm sure Master would want you to return to your real family." 

 "And what if it is at the expense of this family." Marie Claude responded with a query. 

Moysant was shocked for a few seconds because of her question. But her shocked expression turned to a soft smile that belittled her white eyeballs. 

 "Then we should look forward to exploring a side of the master we both have never seen," Moysant replied her. 

 "It might be ugly."
