Chapter 56: War Of The Bastard Dragon IV: A Promise Of Vengeance

"Damn! What the hell happened here?" The scenery below surprised me, I thought I would meet some mercenaries fighting dragon but all I see is a sea of skeletons.

"Ardor..." I corrected him, which I have severally as we conversed during our journey.

"Hmph hmph, Ardor," He said after a slight clearing of his throat. "...ahead of us, that's a Lich. It's a member of the demon race."

"Uh, that's true..." I said as I looked at the lich, "...what's a lich doing here?"

"We both got here, I don't know Young — Ardor..."

I shook my hand, "Doesn't matter, since it's a lich, killing it will get rid of all the smaller ones and the simple way to kill a lich is..." I paused and used Clairvoyance to get a better view. "...Great it has a gem embedded in its forehead. It'll die if I crush that. Take care of Iapetus for me." I said as I flew off the Griffin and towards the Lich.
