Chapter 35: Chapter 35

The more she was on his mind and in his thinking, the more he chose to despise her. 

As he rose up, he grimaced. He needed to get her out of his brain before he could sleep tonight. He wanted a long drive and time to think about something other than Jessie. 

He'd talk to Beth again tomorrow if she'd calmed down, but for now, he needed to get out of the house. He walked out of his house after retrieving his automobile key from the table.

He drove away enraged. Jessie had spoiled things for him yet again. He would make sure she was held accountable for what she had done to him. He isn't going to spare her. As he drove at top speed, his hand gripped the steering wheel fiercely. He began to reflect on the demise of his parents. His father had likewise driven at high speeds and lost control of the brakes, resulting in the death of both himself and his wife.
