Chapter 7: Chapter 7

"Good morning, my love." A female hand lifted the covers as she searched the bed for her beloved. She withdrew the cloth from her face when she felt he wasn't there.

The lady could see him knotting his tie in front of the mirror. She crawled back beneath the covers. "I see you're all dressed and ready to go to work." Her exhausted voice murmured under the blanket.

Din Cooper approached the lady. He ascended the bed and leaned against her, removing the cover off her face slowly. As she stared into his ocean blue eyes, she whimpered once again. She gave a warm smile. "Mrs. Cooper, you are stunning." He kissed her softly on the lips.

When he called her that, Beth was ecstatic. "Mrs. Cooper, uh?" she asked as she kissed him back. "I love the sound of that."

Din grinned. "It will be yours in no time." He rose from his seat, but she dragged him back to her.

"Are you required to leave today?" She inquired. "How about spending the whole day with me?" She proposed.

As he sat on the bed, Din sighed. Beth sat up straight and fixed her gaze on him. "Beth, I'm really busy. I need to meet with the client and give Khalid the manuals. You know how Granddad is, after all." He massaged her cheek with his hand on her face. Her face lay on his hand.

"He doesn't care for me." She stated her case.

"That isn't correct. He likes you, but he isn't always willing to demonstrate his feelings."

"Babe, he looks at me with disgust." Beth sighed and rolled her eyes. She helped him adjust his tie. "In any case, make sure you get home early." "I've prepared a pleasant surprise for you."

Din's expression brightened. "A surprise?" He asked. "Can you tell me what that is?"

Beth laughed and shook her head slowly. "That's why it's termed a surprise. Silly" She gave him a kind smile. "Come here." Din took a step ahead. She hugged him and wrapped her arms around him. He drew her closer to him. She inhaled the air around them before releasing him. "Do your best. I have a feeling today will be a fantastic day for you. I can already sense it!" Din had a smile on his face since she couldn't stop smiling.

He was delighted when he saw Beth grin. His granddad might spoil his chances with her.

Din is baffled as to why his grandfather dislikes Beth. She is both courteous and attractive. She is well-dressed and a wonderful person. He even wonders about the planet she comes from on occasion. If you had questioned him, he would have said it wasn't from the earth.

"All well, then. Make sure you're having a good time as well. Take a look at this." He took out his credit card and handed it to her. "It's only for shopping."

She turned down the card. "But, I still have money on me. I didn't finish the one you sent me the last time."

"Take it, babe; you're a princess, you should be treated as such." He took the credit card and placed it in her palm. He rose from the bed and laid a kiss on her lips. "Make sure you have fun. Daddy will be back soon." She waved at him, and he returned the wave.

Din exited the room with his business luggage and automobile keys.

Beth smiled as she fiddled with the credit card. How did she end up with such a good and attractive man? She questioned herself.

Din stepped out of his car, carried his briefcase, and walked to the front door after parking his car in the garage.

His workers greeted him as he walked into the building.

He'd spent his entire teenage years learning how to create cars and learning how to be successful, just as his grandfather was. At first, he was scared to learn how a car worked because it was the same car that made his parents die, and whenever he thought about that night, it reminded him of the pain.

He was just fourteen when the accident happened.

Din remembered what had happened the night the accident took place. His grandfather had argued with his father. He didn't know what they argued about, but he could see how angry his father was when he took his mother's hand and left for the car.

His father had held him along, but Din couldn't question where they were going at that time of the night. All he had to do was obey.

His father had driven onto the road in anger, and his eyes weren't focused on the road. Before they knew it, a truck approached at a fast pace and hit the side of the car. His father had lost control of the break and the car went into the free narrow road. He'd struggled to stop the car from moving, but he couldn't, and if he removed his eyes from the road, the car might go in another direction, which he was avoiding.
