Chapter 160: Elena Wants To Leave

Xavier still wanted to talk to Elena to make sure she was okay, but he didn't know how to do it without sounding pushy. 

"Let me help you," Xavier said sympathetically. He looked at Elena sincerely and reached out his hand to her. His voice was gentle and soothing when he spoke. "I know this must be hard to swallow. You don't have to accept my brother's treatment of you if you don't like it."

Elena looked at his hand before her and then looked at Xavier's face. After their encounter in Sienna, she felt some closeness with him and somehow she knew she could trust him. Xavier was different from what she expected. He was kind and didn't play games.

He didn't talk much but she could feel that he always meant well. Come to think of it, when he saved her from the three thugs, and then when he saved her from Fabio, he didn't talk much with her. However, he provided everything she needed before she even asked for them.
