"What did you say?" he asked as two deep lines formed between his brows and he quickly jerked himself up, while his eyes glare at her.

'Shit'

Alice immediately regretted saying those words but didn't voice them out. She silently followed his action but didn't dare look at him. 

She could feel his eyes on her the entire time, making her heart race wildly and she suddenly felt like running away.

Though she didn't see him, Alice knew he was enraged by her words as she could feel the change in the temperature around her.

Without wasting a second more she turned around and tried to climb down the bed, but was stopped.

Noah grabbed her arms, forcefully pulling her back to him until she fell onto him. It was that moment when she finally witness his gaze that blaze fire within them.
