Standing in front of the maid's quarter, Richard eyed the closed door. The moment he heard from Stella about Tori's well-being, he decided to check on her.

Richard might hate the girl for who she was but he wasn't heartless like her. That humanity in him didn't let him slip this matter, not when he already knows about it.

Thinking for some time, he finally knocked on the door. At first, he thought, Tori might be acting as if it must be her plan to sneak out of the house, but when the door opened his eyes widen in shock.

A pale weak Tori stood in front of him. She looked so tired that she didn't even bother to look at who was standing in front of her.

"Do you want me to call the doctor" It was his words that made her raise her eyes and it was a surprised look that he got in return.
