"Are you sure about your plan" Vincent sat across Dylan while he sipped the whine from his glass?

"You don't have to worry, dad. Just make sure Theon signs the paper as soon as possible the rest will take care" Dylan was sure that his plan was going to work.

He wouldn't have agreed to marry Alice if he wasn't inclined to get Theon's share and company. He wasn't someone who liked to stick to a particular person, and marriage was something he didn't believe in.

He only wanted to trap Alice because it was essential for his plan to work, so once they got the share, he defamed Alice and broke his engagement with her.

She was only a scapegoat for him to reach his destination.

While the father and son were enjoying their victory in advance, Dylan received a call from Brook.

His lips curled into a smile, and he picked up the call, but the words he heard next widened his eyes in shock, and his smile faded.
