Chapter 98: 2.27.2 Truce

"Is this another play, you demon?" Maisel asked, looking at the figure of his son that now stood up and looked toward him.

But before he can continue with his question, Farhad grabbed his neck and then like the time his body did to the guard, he ripped out the flesh of his neck in front of his own father. 

Confusion, fear, and panic spread over Farhad's face as he didn't understand why he did this. Why would he kill himself in front of the man who he hated, why would his body move on his own?

Was it the game of that faceless bastard?

Or was it another one of the dreams, but this one based on his own life? He didn't know a thing, he only felt weakness as he fell over as the blood kept flowing out of his neck.

Prompting his father, who was still in confusion, to panic. "No.., no … not again." He didn't know what just happened. A moment ago, his dead son's body called him father with the same emotion he remembers from the past.
