Meanwhile in the restaurant:
Soon the dinner was served. The dinner was a mix of Pakistani and Chinese cuisines. The delicious smell of food made Emma hungrier.
Then Emma and David started to eat the food. And Emma couldn't help but be obsessed with that flavorful food.
"You like the food?" David asked Emma, looking at Emma eating impatiently.
"Hmm." Emma nodded cheerfully.
"I had often come here with my parents," David said to Emma.
"Oh," Emma said.
"Occasionally, when my mother's hair was on the verge of falling into our food, my father would tuck them back with love," David said while eating and smiling.
"That is so sweet." Emma smiled too.
Just then Emma stretched her arm to grab the water, she moved a bit and bowed a little and she didn't notice that her hair was on the verge of falling into food.
Soon David stopped eating and tucked Emma's hair back behind her ear.
Emma was surprised. Their eyes met. One's eyes were filled with love and affection and the next one is surprised.
I don't know how to act!!!!
Help!!!!!
"Umm, I need to go to the washroom." By saying this Emma quickly tried to escape David's gaze.
On her way to the washroom, she walked past the restaurant's kitchen. She heard workers saying:
"What kind of people they are? They are planning to divorce on their first anniversary."
"I think both must have been engaged in an affair and didn't like each other from the very first time."
"These types of people can never be good parents, they should separate."
Emma was about to burst with anger.
Enough is enough!!!!
What kind of people you guys are?!!!!!
Just bad talkers!!!!!
How can you guys predict that we can never be good parents?! Judgmental!
No matter where ever you go you will find people having different ideas about you, just let them think. You can not stop one's thinking, but you can change it.
And I neither want them to stop thinking nor change their thinking, I am not gonna waste my energy with them.
Creation is hard, cheer me up!
