Chapter 52: A Reunion of sorts 2

In the outskirts of Qingyu, Western Liang. 

"Fall back Your highness"

Nie Shaoqing looked toward the direction he heard that from, "it can't be that.....", he glanced back at the team of soldiers from the Duke's army that had been sent to provide security.

"We need to help them get ready", he said hooking his quiver at his side and walking forward. He frowned as the attack came into view.

Dead bodies lay around, there was a smashed wagon by a tree and the bandit surrounded a group of men. 

Nie Shaoqing pulled an arrow out of his quiver and hooked it through his bow, he positioned himself carefully and once his aim was right aimed it at the bandits.

He hid in the thick bushes and short arrows at the bandits while the rest of his men rushed forward to attack them.
