Chapter 88: Chapter 88 The Battle of Superman

"They say that Batman always has a backup plan, no matter what kind of situation he faces." Superman looked directly at Batman from a distance of about ten meters and asked in a low voice, "Then tell me now, when I use heat Before your eyesight completely evaporates, Bruce... in this case, what tricks are you not using?"

As he spoke, he kept his eyes fixed on Batman's hands hidden in the cloak, and he was quite sure that Batman's fingers were honestly pressed against his thighs, not pressing on any of the hidden pockets of his belt. As he said, at this distance he can cook Batman with heat vision before his fingers can reach any hidden compartment of the multi-purpose belt, even if he still has spare kryptonite hidden in the belt.

"You're right." Batman said lightly, and Superman noticed that his body still didn't move at all, "I do have a plan...that plan is called backup."

Perhaps he was so focused on Batman that he ignored the ripping sound of the air from high up amid the creaking of the burning ruins until the syllable "backup" came from Batman. Spitting out of his mouth, Superman suddenly realized the loud noise that nearly ripped apart the space in his ears.

"Bang!"

The sound of the two fists hitting at the same time was neatly superimposed as if two intercontinental missiles were bombarding Superman at the same time. The airflow exploded in place in a spiral shape, and the black smoke rising from the flames of the ruins was instantly blown away. Superman flew upside down under the tremendous force of these two punches, and the red and blue afterimages hit the ground three times in a row like a water-dropping dragonfly, and finally smashed a pillar-shaped building in the base.

Jay and Kara landed right in front of Batman. Carla glanced back at him and smiled: "It seems that the world has entered a new era, and even Batman will take the initiative to ask for help."

Batman's white eyepiece moved: "I have many other options, but Alfred insists on this one."

"Of course, sir." Alfred's voice came from the newly restored communication line in his bat mask in good time, "because from what I know of you, your other plans may involve missing arms and legs. The risk of your legs, in the end, it's me who will try to mend you back."

The ruins of the column-shaped building that collapsed not far away exploded with a "bang", and countless pieces of brick and stone splashed out in all directions. Sweep over the two new Kryptonians.

"Well, new news," Jay said. "He looks pissed."

"That's not Clark," Batman reminded. "He may look alike, but he's just a clone of Superman and doesn't have his own emotions and morals, which makes him completely different from the real Superman." He paused. After a while, "It means you don't have to keep your hands."

"Excellent." Kara slammed her right fist on the palm of her left hand, "I just need this sentence."

Superman clenched his fists without a word, his bones crackling slightly. The cloak behind him rose without wind, and the gravel under the soles of his feet in the air began to rotate along specific lines as if being pulled by some invisible force. The raging flames of the ruins swayed like a huge backdrop, and the brief and eerie silence was like a harbinger of a storm.

After a pause of about three seconds, the three Kryptonians burst out at the same time, and the airwaves swept across the ground with dense dust. Batman had to take a few steps back, clutching the cape to cover his mouth and nose, and the black cape was agitated by the astonishing wind pressure.

The fierce battle was quickly moved to an altitude of hundreds of meters, and the loud bangs of collisions were like gunshots from the horizon, heavy and turbid, and quickly moved to a farther direction.

The base of the League of Assassins is located in a sparsely populated jungle on the outskirts of Gotham, only four or five miles away from Gotham City. The three Kryptonians in the fierce battle flew over the jungle and wilderness in the blink of an eye and quickly fell towards Gotham City.

Jay was accidentally hit by a clone superman in the fierce attack and defense, and his body swooped down like an air-raid cannonball, crashing through a tall building in the middle with a loud bang. The moment he landed, there was a terrifying ripple on the road that was visible to the naked eye, and the asphalt road was overturned along the ripple.

Jay shook his dull head and half sat up from the deep hole his body had made. The other two afterimages were also swooping down from the sky at this time, hitting a distance of about half a mile from where he landed, and the shock wave exploded in all directions.

The thick smoke screen almost obscured the sky, and Kara's figure flew out from the tearing smoke screen after a few seconds, like a sharp blade cutting the traffic in the middle of the road.

Carla sat on the ground with her back against a car whose door was dented by herself and rubbed her temples laboriously, only to feel Venus rising in front of her eyes. But her enemy did not give her a chance to breathe, and another red and blue afterimage burst out of the smoke and rushed straight up with a scream of air friction.

Superman raised his right fist high, and the iron fist was about to land on Carla's head. Superman suddenly volleyed and accelerated, like a home run that leaped over the stadium and rose into the sky again. A few seconds later, the glass outside another building a few blocks away exploded.

Jay tossed the bus, whose shell had been badly deformed on impact, and pulled Cara up with his hand, mumbling, "Hope they don't ask us to pay for this...Are you okay?"

"Me? It's totally fine." Carla shook her head, pulling her blonde hair behind her shoulders, "Okay, except maybe just a little bit dizzy. That guy is as good as the Superman I remember. ."

"But we can handle it. I mean, we've got two and he's single-handedly..."

The second half of Jay's words were swallowed back when he saw the scene in front of him. Just a few blocks in front of them, a skyscraper that looks like it might be dozens of stories high rises in the billowing smoke, through which they can see with superhuman eyesight. The small figure of the tall building is held at the bottom. He lifts the weight so lightly that he looks like an ant that easily lifts an elephant.

Jay swallowed. "Well, maybe... maybe it's going to be a little harder than I thought."

Clone Superman let out a low growl, his arms twitched, and the entire building suddenly dragged the rolling yellow dust to the top of the two of them, with terrifying momentum.
