Chapter 23: In The Hospital Part 1 (Chapter 23)

In the previous Chapter 22,

The waitress knocks on the door and serves food.

Adeline says, "Let's eat."

Robert eats his steak and soda.

Suddenly Adeline's phone rings...

Adeline picks up the call. "Hello?"

There is silence no one responds to Adeline.

Adeline looks at the caller ID to check who the caller is. It's not a familiar number and it's not registered on Adeline's phone.

The line was cut off.

Adeline finds maybe it's the wrong number. She doesn't bother to think further about it.

Adeline and Robert continue to eat steak and soda.

After their meals, Adeline return to the hospital waiting for her to be admitted.

Robert's mind is running wild not only he is afraid of werewolves and they are not human, to begin with. (This part here shows Robert's fears and he isn't altogether powerful as he seems to be.)

Adeline thinks about how to save Paul. If only she can find her older brother Hugo. But until now there wasn't any news about Hugo.
