Chapter 70: Mango soap and mint

Ivo didn't like being the centre of attention, he especially didn't like that they were expecting him to be the tiebreaker over something so major.

He couldn't help glaring at Davi. He had the feeling he was putting him on the spot on purpose.

But Ivo had asked for this, and now he had to give it serious consideration.

Should they hide what they'd found from Vital? Ideally yes, but he was the one paying them for the gigs, if they kept showing him nothing he would eventually grow suspicious. 

Besides, by their own admission, they'd found very useful information through Vital's gigs. Clearly, none of them were doing it for the money, if Vital's probing questions were anything to go by. So, they could probably afford to be working for less than their usual fee in exchange for information that benefited their... revolutionary goals. Whatever they might be.
