Chapter 41: Bring over the boytoy and the cuck

Juju Janeiro obviously didn't notice anything amiss with Ivo's fake name, and introduced herself cordially. She exchanged a few random pleasantries with Vice, but her pool-tile blue eyes kept drifting over Ivo's shoulder until she finally asked:

"Who's the brooding hottie over there glaring at you?" She pointed in Davi's direction with a sharp, claw-like bright pink nail.

Vice motioned Davi over, who grudgingly made his way closer and stood at Ivo's side with an unreadable expression.

"This is Alex's ex, he didn't take kindly to being replaced." Vice's shit-stirring grin spoke for itself. Ivo just went along with it.

"Alexandre, nice to meet you," Davi said, smiling at Juju tightly.

It seemed Ivo wasn't the only one making inexplicable decisions. He tried to catch Davi's eye but he didn't look in his direction.

Juju blinked her large eyelashes quickly, and pointed between the two of them in confusion. "Wait, are you two brothers?"
