Chapter 97: Trust me Seo-yeon, I love you

"You made up stories to actually make me think you were in love with me but all you wanted was your heir." Seo-yeon murmured.

"What are you talking about Seo-yeon? Are you out of your mind? Why would I do that?" Ho-jin raised his brows but all Seo-yeon did was look at him expressionless. "Look Seo-yeon."

"Everything I said about falling in love with you before now is all true. I fell in love with you before Ji-hoon came into the picture at all. Before it all happened. You have to trust me Seo-yeon." Ho-jin held her shoulders but she pushed his hands off.

"Well, do I have a choice? If not because of how things turned out to be, I won't owe you a dime but I guess I still owe you for that…"

"Seo-yeon stop. Listen to me Seo-yeon, I'm nothing like Do-yun. I prefer not falling in love with someone than breaking their hearts or using them. You have to trust me Seo-yeon." He held her hands making her look up at him with tears threatening to fall from her eyes.
