Chapter 88: Confusing attack

"Nine hundred million won." Ji-woo finally bidded and Ji-min stopped bidding. 

"The auction has finally come to an end. Please enjoy the rest of your evening." Mi-hi bowed before walking down the stage. 

Seo-yeon faced the food she was served and started eating gently. She kept on looking around as she ate and soon her eyes caught Ji-woo staring at her. She quickly averted her gaze 

"It's been a while, Seo-yeon." Someone called and she looked up to see Ji-woo who was standing before her with a smirk. 

"Oh…hello." Seo-yeon stuttered, preventing herself from choking. 

Ji-woo sat gently while Xin, who was standing behind Seo-yeon, was alert for anything that was going to happen. 

"Your father told me your mother passed away…"

"He is not my father." Seo-yeon gritted her teeth, making him chuckle slightly.
