Chapter 33: Brings back childhood memories
Seo-yeon and Yoon-suh quietly drove back to her mother's mansion where the doctor would meet them in a few minutes. The ride back was silent and Yoon-suh was trembling slightly due to the deadly glare Seo-yeon kept giving her.
Not up to five minutes after they got to the mansion, the doctor arrived, not suspecting Seo-yeon was around when Yoon-suh came to welcome him.
Once they made it to the room, the door immediately slammed shut, surprising the doctor who was instantly startled.
"We meet again Doctor Cha."
"Young mistress." The man bowed gently after looking at Yoon-suh questioningly.
"I heard you're the doctor taking care of my mother." Seo-yeon raised her brows and he nodded in response.
"Great. I would like to see the medications you've prescribed to my mother."
"Where is she? I was told strictly by my boss to give it to her myself and no one should have any contact with the medicines because it is harmful to her health." Dr. Cha replied without any hint of hesitation.
"Very well then." Seo-yeon walked towards him and snatched the bag with him away within a fraction of seconds and poured out all the content.
"That is the pill bottle young mistress." Yoon-suh pointed at the transparent pill bottle which Seo-yeon instantly picked up.
"Next time Doctor Cha, be quicker and smarter." Seo-yeon looked at the pill bottle. Dr. Cha was trembling already with the expressionless gaze Seo-yeon fixed on the pill bottle. They all know better than to provoke her again when she has that look on.
Growing up with Seo-yeon made them know all the characters she had except the new ones she had gotten within the years of being away from them.
"Father gave you these pills, didn't he?" Seo-yeon asked and Dr. Cha nodded nervously. "He hasn't left his act yet. Yoon-suh, take the pills back to Ge-un. A taxi is waiting outside already. The pills must be in Ge-un's hand within fifteen minutes or else you would be in big trouble."
"Yes young mistress." Yoon-suh quickly collected the bottle and rushed out.
"While she's gone, drive me to father's mansion right now." Seo-yeon ordered Dr. Cha who gulped before nodding.
Dr. Cha led her to his car and after getting themselves seated, he drove towards the city. He knew well that he was taking his last drive as he would be killed for making Seo-yeon discover the drugs he was giving to her mother.
Seo-yeon looked out the window as they drove on. She was both furious and a bit nervous to face her father after these years that he had disowned her. Despite still carrying the name Yang, he had told the press that he doesn't recognize her as his daughter.
Not long after, they got to Yang's mansion. The mansion was one of the largest mansions in the whole of the city. Mr Yang was a well known businessman who deals with gold and diamonds. Behind the legal business he was doing, there was also his illegal business which was drug dealing. He had a large illegal drug manufacturing company somewhere in the city which not just anyone could just find. No one even knew he owned the company except the workers who get killed immediately they decide to leave the job.
"We're here Miss." Dr. Cha gulped as the car stopped.
Seo-yeon stepped out of the car and looked around the large compound which had different guards stationed at different positions. Some who recognized her were stunned to see her and then they immediately aimed at her due to the order given to them by her father. She was never to step into the Yang's residence again.
"Please Miss, you aren't allowed in here. Leave peacefully or we won't have any other options but to harm you." One of the guards walked towards her and she snorted.
"Would I have come here if not your filthy boss crossed me? There's nothing I would do with him since he had sent me away himself. Get in there and order him to get himself out here or he's going to see the daughter he trained to be a killer." Seo-yeon yelled.
"Miss….."
"Let her come in." Mr Yang's personal assistant said from the front of the mansion door where he stood.
The guards dropped their guns and she was led to Mr Yang's personal assistant. "It's nice to see you home after a long time of being away, Miss Seo-yeon."
"Home? Please don't make me laugh." Seo-yeon snorted as he led her into the house.
They walked through the large hallway which was beautifully decorated with gold and diamonds, showing Mr Yang's wealth and what he deals with. The place hasn't changed much since she was sent out.
Her eyes caught a particular vase that usually caught her attention anytime she stepped into the house because she was the one who placed it there on her fifth birthday.
"Promise me you won't take it away from this place father. Even if you don't like me, please grant me this one wish for my birthday." Little Seo-yeon grabbed onto her father's suit sobbing.
"You can have it, now get out of my sight." He growled at her in disgust.
She usually wondered when she was a child if she was truly her father's child due to the way he treated her. She even wondered if she was truly from the Yang family. Her mother never loved her for once when she was young, nor did her brothers. Starting from when she was eight, they gave her all she wanted, being the only female child but still,it was obvious they didn't like her.
"I never expected to see you this early, Seo-yeon."
