The following morning, Seo-yeon was woken up by her psycho friend who came jumping on her bed like a kid in an attempt to wake the sleepyhead.
"Get up lazy woman. Let's hit the gym already. Let's hit the gym and test your agility, stamina and flexibility."
Ma-ri squealed, causing Seo-yeon to groan disdainfully as she opened her eyes.
"I'm starting to regret ever meeting you but it's even too late to regret that now." Seo-yeon swung her feet down the bed and Ma-ri chuckled darkly, knowing how much seo-yeon loves her sleep.
"You're stuck with me forever young woman." Ma-ri gave a devilish smirk. "And I love you too. Get your lazy ass up and let's get going already."
Seo-yeon lazily made her way into the bathroom, washed her face, brushed her teeth before walking into the room to change her clothes into some gym wear.
The two besties walked down to the gym after checking on Ji-hoon. They were both wearing bra tops and leggings. Ma-ri held two water bottles with a triumphant smile on her face. Seo-yeon finally agreed to dance and she loved the achievement she made on her.
Getting into the gym, Seo-yeon looked around a bit impressed. The gym was bigger than other places in the house and it was fully equipped with everything just like a gym house. There was a dance corner at the end which had all necessary dance materials.
"When did you start dancing that I didn't remember?" Seo-yeon looked at her and she chuckled.
"I'm a good friend. I knew one day you were gonna come here for a few days and you'll practice dancing." Ma-ri flashed her a smile that revealed her perfect set of white teeth.
"Seriously I know you have white teeth so keep it closed and let's focus on why we are here. If not, you could just let me go back to bed." Seo-yeon frowned and Ma-ri chuckled before leading her to the warm-up place.
After an hour of regular exercises with machines, they walked to the dancing corner and Seo-yeon looked around nervously. Even though she was certain she could still dance, she still had a hint of fear.
"Come on Seo-yeon. Don't keep me waiting." Ma-ri frowned and Seo-yeon took a deep breath and the song started. In a few seconds she started dancing. The grace and elegance was extraordinary. One could easily tell dancing was part of her despite not even trying to dance for seven good years. The way she swayed, mixed hip hop and ballet was extraordinary.
Each step she took had its own memories. She shut everything out but the music. She couldn't afford to start thinking of the memories that would ruin her whole day entirely.
"That was amazing! If I wasn't used to your dancing, I would have fainted due to happiness to see my bestie dance again. Oh my goodness they would be a fool not to pick you instantly. Do-yun was a fool to keep this talented lady hidden." Ma-ri clapped.
"Why thank you. Even though I felt your gaze would rip me apart due to your over enthusiasm." Seo-yeon smiled and Ma-ri threw herself at her.
"You are still the best Seo-yeon. You were also a fool to let Do-yun hide this extraordinary talent." Ma-ri softly scolded her and she got a knock in return. "Now all I want now is to hear you….."
"I will kill you if you complete it." Seo-yeon glared at her, causing Ma-ri to seal her lips.
"Good."
"Go again. Dance again. I want to see you dance again." Ma-ri squealed and Seo-yeon sighed, feeling completely helpless for her friend. This was the reason she didn't want to dance before Ma-ri. She would make a big deal out of it and start screaming for her to continue dancing even if she was exhausted.
"Just shut up and don't control me. I know I was supposed to go again." Seo-yeon hissed and Ma-ri giggled.
"Dance to slow hip-hop this time around." Ma-ri squealed again and Seo-yeon looked at her with the expression 'You are clearly nuts right?'
"I'm not nuts. You know the songs I'm talking about so come on, play it already and dance." She prompted.
"Do you know how exhausting it is to dance? You can't do any but you're here controlling me to do one." Seo-yeon frowned.
"The Seo-yeon I know can dance for hours without getting exhausted. And I'm sure that Seo-yeon is in this woman somewhere." Ma-ri smirked and Seo-yeon rolled her eyes before she started dancing.
After the early morning exercise, they both returned to their rooms to take their bath. Seo-yeon left for the kitchen after and made breakfast. By the time she was done with breakfast, Ji-hoon had come downstairs holding one of his teddies.
"Good morning momma." He greeted with the same cheerfulness he always carried, his mother couldn't resist giving him a big hug before pecking his cheeks.
"Good morning sweetheart. How was your night? It was fine, right?" Seo-yeon asked and he nodded.
"Good. No nightmares?"
"No nightmares." He replied and she pecked his cheeks again.
"Have you brushed your teeth?" Seo-yeon asked and he nodded affirmatively.
"Good boy. Now sit down and have breakfast."
"You both are making me want to get married and have a child soon." Ma-ri walked down the stairs in an oversized shirt and bum short.
"Then why don't we get married and make babies." They all turned their heads towards the door where Ge-un stood with his hands in his pockets.
"Isn't that a nice way to propose? I won't say yes until you give me my dream proposal. I can't marry you either. I would marry Ji-hoon instead." Ma-ri walked to the little boy and pecked his cheeks. "Good morning love."
"Good morning aunt Ma-ri." He smiled.
"Will Ji-hoon marry aunt to save her from Ge-un? He wants to kidnap me and force me to marry him." Ma-ri pouted and Ji-hoon hugged her knowing very well that she was just joking.
"Ji-hoon will marry aunt Ma-ri." He smiled and looked at Ge-un who shot him a playful deadly glare.
"Aww that's my sweetheart. Ge-un don't look at the boy like that. He's trying to save me from you, that's what." Ma-ri smirked and Ge-un sighed.
"I was planning on taking you out today, Ji-hoon. Now I've changed my mind." Ge-un said.
"Then I'll take you out Ji-hoon. Don't mind him. We'll go on a date okay?" Ma-ri pecked the little guy's cheeks.
"Will you three stop being childish and sit for breakfast? I didn't get my ass into the kitchen to cook for you guys to talk till it gets cold." Seo-yeon frowned.
"Why are you sounding like my mum?" Ma-ri frowned and Seo-yeon shot her a deadly glare, causing her to lower her gaze.
"Alright alright."
