Chapter 109: Breakthrough

"Welcome, Dr Zoe, " Zhang Boyan welcomed her to the team. "This is our team and you can ask any question."

Zoe asked several questions about the nature of the research and its progress. After several hours, she finally found out where they were going wrong. 

Outside the research Building, Song Zhilan didn't see Zoe leaving for a whole week. She was eating there and sleeping there. Practically, she was living in the research building. The one-day research turned into ten days and he couldn't shake off this feeling of guilt from his heart. He never wanted anyone to suffer because of him. It was not her fault that he was injured but she had to pay for it. 

He was sitting in the office of Zhang Boyan as per the orders. Each day, he would be given acupuncture personally by Zhang Boyan. 

"How was the pain last night?" Zhang Boyan inquired. 

"The oil is good. It relieves my legs. Thank you for it, " Song Zhilan said with a nod.
