Chapter 70: Work Besties

"What's up with you?" Secretary Mei asked as she looked at a depressing Zuni. 

"Why is loving so tough?" Zuni asked her. She was sitting in the bar area of the hotel. Oh, did she inform her that her hubby tossed her out of his room? She would not be Zuni Long if she returned to him. If he couldn't be a man and said to her face that he hated her, she wasn't going to coax him to. 

So what if she was an ex? 

Did he think an ex like her didn't have self-respect? 

Hah! 

She agreed that she did something to annoy him and it backfired. 

In her defence, she didn't intentionally annoy him. She was just reading a novel and the Male lead was doing butt things to the female lead and she might have asked her hubby if he had any opinion on this subject. Without a word, he tossed her out of his presidential suite.

She was curious and he threw her out of the room!
