Chapter 29: Emergency Mission

[Emergency Mission!]

Originally, the French trappers were meant to pass by this place and nothing would happen. Due to the members' influence, a mechanism has been triggered by the French trappers causing a slumbering initiation grounds to be activated.

- Kill the Queen

Rewards

- 5,000 DGC Points

- Random Item

"Shit! Take care of these trappers before we deal with the emergency." I told the group.

Deciding I had bigger things to worry about than if people saw my powers, I locked onto as many trappers as I could before snapping their necks.

"Yoruichi, take care of any stragglers trying to escape. Everyone else, keep it clean and fast, we have bigger things to worry about."

"Are these the same Xenomorphs the Yautja consider the ultimate prey?" asked Ciri while teleporting around and slicing throats.

"They are, and they have a Queen which will pump out Facehuggers which will make more Xenomorphs. But, an initiation ground activating by itself should be no big deal since there wouldn't be any Xenomorphs made yet. The fact that it's an emergency mission means there's some slumbering inside." I explained while taking care of some other trappers.

"Whew, done." said Yoruichi reappearing right in front of us.

"None escaped?"

"Nope. But I can feel that there's something over there." she said pointing North.

"Good, let's go. The faster we get there, the more time we have to relax." I said before running North.

Soon after, we came across a ravine. Looking down into the ravine we saw a pyramid that looked like the one from the Alien vs. Predator movie.

"What's an initiation ground?" asked Guts.

"Long story short, every hundred years the Yautja bring Un-Blooded to these initiation grounds as a test, to see whether or not they have what it takes to become Blooded. Inside is a Queen that is frozen until the next time the grounds are to be used." explained Amelia.

"But for some reason, this particular initiation grounds still has some Xenomorphs alive. We need to kill them before they can make more and make sure none escape. We don't want this planet to become a breeding ground for them." I said.

"Enough explanation, let's get going already." said Uzui.

"Before we go, don't let a facehugger latch on to you, and be careful of Xenomorph blood, it's extremely acidic. Okay, let's go."

"Wait, how are we getting down there?" asked Ciri.

"Oh right." I said a little embarrassed at forgetting something so obvious.

"Well, I can take Uzui and Amelia with me, Ciri can blink down there, and Yoruichi can carry Guts. Sound good?" I asked at which they all nodded. "Good, then let's go."

Using my telekinesis on Uzui and Amelia, I flew us all down. I thought I might struggle a little more, but it seems my powers have grown faster than I anticipated. After a short flight, we finally landed on the steps to the pyramid.

"Whoa, this entire thing is mechanical." I said.

"Does that mean you can kill them from here?" asked Ciri.

"No! Don't kill them, let me fight them." said Uzui a little worried I would finish the job before he could do anything.

"Don't worry, I can't kill them. It's not entirely a machine, so I can't make it do things it's not able to do. I do know where the Xenomorphs are and how many."

"How many are there?" asked Amelia.

"12 Xenomorphs and 1 Queen, and they know we're here."

"Aww, man. I thought there would be more of them." said Uzui.

"Okay, we should split up. Ciri, Amelia, and Uzui you guys take care of the 12 Xenomorphs, I'll rush to take out the Queen. Yoruichi-"

"I know, I'll take care of this cutie right here." she said hugging Guts.

"Tch, just wait until I can use my nen. Then you won't have to take care of me." he said.

"Aww, don't worry, this big sister will take care of you anyways." she replied at which we all chuckled.

"Why don't you let the kid fight one? As long as you're there to save him, it shouldn't be a problem. And besides, the kid's a warrior he can't be taken care of all the time." said Uzui.

"Yes! Let me fight one." agreed Guts.

"I agree. These missions are for us to get stronger and experience all kinds of worlds. Guts should experience it as well." said Ciri.

"Fine. But the second I see that something is going to go wrong, I'm stepping in." said Yoruichi.

"Deal!" agreed Guts eager to fight something.

"Okay, you all know the plan. Let's go." I said before we walked in.

The inside of the pyramid started off with a long hallway lined with statues of Yautja as well as murals depicting the history of their time on Earth. Worshipped as gods who taught man how to build, what an interesting history this world has.

"So the Yautja are the reason humans learned to build in this world, huh. Interesting." said Amelia.

"If the world ever found out that's how the pyramids were built, they'd have a field day." I added while we continued to walk into the pyramid.

After walking for a bit, we entered the sacrificial chamber.

"Okay, this is where we'll split up. You guys continue straight and I'm taking a shortcut all the way to the Queen. Remember, be careful and good luck." I said before using my telekinesis to force open the drain leading down to the egg room.

"You too." said Ciri.

I fly down the shaft to get into the egg room and after a minute or so, I arrive. And it is nasty. Big fleshy eggs everywhere with mucus all over the floor and windows.

"God this is gross. Some of the eggs are open though, need to watch out for those little fuckers."

SCREECH

I turned around to see a facehugger I caught with my telekinesis and it was an ugly little shit. It looked like a scorpion but slimier and bonier. Shuddering at the thought of that being on my face, I crush it before throwing it on the ground.

As it hit the ground three more jumped at me trying to catch me off guard, unsuccessfully I might add. I crushed them just as easily as the first, before deciding it would be a nuisance to crush them one at a time. I decide to copy the Force Wave from Star Wars to push the eggs and anything else against the wall with hopefully enough force to crush them.

I had used telekinetic blasts before so a wave shouldn't be much harder. Focusing for a bit to concentrate on the strength of the wave, I released it successfully. A wave of telekinetic force pushed everything around me against the walls, successfully crushing any eggs and facehuggers.

"Nice, new move to add to my repertoire. I need to look at the Star Wars wiki for some inspiration." I said before continuing on to the Queen's chambers. Well, not chambers, more like a jail cell.

After walking through and destroying two more egg rooms, I finally reached the Queen's chamber. Where I was promptly ambushed by a Xenomorph. I stopped the tail before it pierced my front, which I then used to slam the alien on the ground.

SCREECH

"You are one ugly motherfucker." I said repeating the iconic line. Although not on the Yautja, but on a Xenomorph. Still, it holds true.

Rushing to swipe at me, I choke it by its neck before slamming it to the ground again. I then grip it by its tail and pull it off.

SCREECH

Using the tip of the tail as a projectile, I launch it at its head, killing it instantly.

Looking at the body of the alien, I think to myself that I want to have trophies of the worlds I visit. So, I message the group chat to leave one of the aliens as intact as possible for a trophy. Though, in the case of the Yautja, I won't turn their bodies into mannequins. I'm not deranged. For the Yautja, I'll create a mannequin in the shape of Yautja and display the equipment I got.

Snapping out of my thoughts, I turn to look at the Queen, suspended in shackles cursed to breed for as long as she can. Though I don't feel too bad, considering Xenomorphs are just giant parasites. Man-made parasites but parasites nonetheless.

SCREECH

The Queen screeches at me, angry with its shackles and me for killing its child.

"A Queen is a rare Xenomorph, so I do want to keep it intact. I can hold it in place and hit it straight on with the tail I used earlier. Least amount of damage while still killing it."

I tk the tail over while also holding the Queen in place. Then I launch it right at its head, killing it just like its child. I command the chains to be released before I go over to its body and store it in my inventory.

"Done. Now let me message the rest of the group while I get out of here." I said before starting to walk back to where I dropped in.

CREATORS' THOUGHTS
RubberPeen RubberPeen

Twenty-ninth chapter done and as always let me know what you think.

Let me know what you think about the rewards, I'm not entirely happy so if there are better ideas I might change them. I originally had 15,000 instead of 5,000 but I thought it was too much.

Also, about the trophy keeping. I put it in because I would do the same thing. Just not to sentient species like the Yautja because that's kinda psycho.
