Chapter 90: Why do you hate maths?

"And what is this crafting for, may I know more?" asked Sir Arken, "what are your thoughts on it?" he seemed more interested.

Eden was silent for a while then he picked up his word, answering, "For crafting rare ornament, stones, and gems. Perhaps, my crafting will help out a jewel-maker or a crafter." he wasn't sure how to say the right word.

On the other side, his teacher was elite in reading students. He understood clearly why Eden was puzzled which was why he did not make him push harder for an answer. 

Instead, he shifted to the next topic by saying, "When you evolve to a professional level of crafting, I will also be your customer to buy your crafts."

"Am!!!" surprised Eden by the sudden encouragement as he did not know what to reply.

"What about reading and writing? Why both? And a Mags interested in reading and writing, may I know why?" asked the teacher.
