Of course, I was happy to introduce Aunt Carolyn. I said, "Aunt Carolyn? She's a close friend of our family, the only daughter of the Southern Duke. She has been studying abroad for the past few years."

I recalled the elusive gaze during the day and asked, "Why are you suddenly asking about this? Do you know her? I thought I saw you looking at her during lunch."

Spil shook his head and said, "Just asking casually, it's nothing..."

He didn't seem like he was just casually asking, and I wanted to say something more, but the black wolf agilely jumped out of the half-open window and disappeared into the woods outside the palace.

"Weird..."

I shrugged it off and continued to fiddle with the new pistol I received.
