Chapter 197: Final Stage 1 (Gina)

Days by days, Gina lived with emptiness. She never knew how much it hurt to lose the person she loved the most.

Gina tried to distract herself from the pain by staying busy, but nothing seemed to fill the void in her heart. She missed the sound of her loved one's voice, the warmth of their embrace, and the way they made her feel alive.

Gina began to realize that the pain of loss was not something that could be easily forgotten or brushed aside.

Most of the day she pensived sitting on the sofa facing the window. She gazed outside with empty mind and a throbbing head.

Her chest felt heavy as if there was a large rock that crushed and made her felt tight. The tears kept rolling down on her cheeks, until they dried on their own.

"Gina, you have to eat." Modesty brought warm bread and tea.

"I'm not hungry." Gina shook her head slowly.

"You haven't eaten at all, how come you don't feel hungry?" Modesty looke at her with a sad expresion.
