Chapter 45: Chapter 45 - "OUR CHILD?"

Tommy couldn't sleep after hearing Becca's answer. He chose to stay awake, sitting on the balcony sipping his black coffee. Of course, he did that when he knew that Becca was asleep. Becca didn't want to go back to him right now. Why? He thought. Even though he thought that with this pregnancy, Becca would accept him back. But it turned out to be not what he expected. He was so confident that he didn't even think about the answer to the rejection.

"Looks like you have to keep staring at her and making her stare at you, Tom. She told me her pregnancy made her weak because of your stares," Sera said, explaining at the time. 

Thinking about Sera's words, Tommy did try a few times and it was true. Becca always seemed to avoid his gaze and how many times had he seen how she reacted when Becca looked at him.

With no desire to sleep, Tommy chose to leave the apartment, to the gym which was always open 24 hours.
