Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Killing Spree
Soon, the classes had finished as we walked down the bustling street. Merchants reveal their items to the students, and Students get scammed. Everything happened in this bustling street while I, Nie Li, Lu Piao, and Du Ze walked around. Looking from time to time for items.
"Nie Li, what are you planning?" asked Lu Piao, confused while Nie Li looked around.
" To buy the things we needed. Lu Piao, you go and buy Three Crossbows and 500 Bolts. Each Crossbow cost 160 Demon Spirit Coins and the Bolts cost thirty demon spirit coins each. Don't get cheated by scammers, Lu Piao. While Xiangjun, go buy a black pool Grass and low-level fusing agents. Buy 10 bulks of Black Pool Grass and 10 low-level fusing agents. While I and Du Ze will look for Zoysia Grass " Nie said as we go to our separate ways.
I walked around the stores to inquire if they had some Black Pool Grass. Thankfully, I still have my 100x talent reward. I tried to bargain with the store owner for 5 demon spirit coins per bulk which he agreed, albeit reluctantly. Then, I go to another store where they sell some low-level fusing agents and bargain for 12 DSC. Which is a low price since the original price is 16 DSC.
Then I remembered that one of my abilities is a personal world where a thousand times faster than the original world. I walked towards a place where they sell seeds of each herb. Luckily, I found many seeds, ranging from Black Pool Grass Seed, Zoysia Grass Seed, Purple Haze Grass, and many other things.
I put all of these seeds into my personal world as I walked toward the place we will meet.
Training Ground, I was the first one to arrive as Nie Li and Du Ze was next to arrive. I gave the Black Pool Grass and Low level fusing agents to Nie Li who thanked me. Also, I got a wooden sword which I buy from a vendor. Soon, Lu Piao finally arrived with a full set of armor, three crossbows, and numerous arrows.
" What are you doing, Lu Piao. I told you to buy crossbows and arrows, why did you add armor to it? Take it off if you don't want to get mauled by the Horned Sheep. " Nie Li said, Du Ze and I chuckled at Lu Piao.
" But I already buy it and it's super cool. It was also cheap. " Lu Piao said, annoying Nie Li and stripping him off.
Moments later, we walked inside the training ground and go to the place where the horned sheep resided. We formulated a plan and let Lu Piao act as bait.

A mission and a body strengthening at that. Can it be considered in the Body Technique category? If it is, then I can train this to a fast speed. Change of plan, I will act as the bait.
" Nie Li, can I be a bait this time? If that's okay with you guys" I said as Nie Li glanced at Lu Piao who nodded happily.
" Yes, you can be the bait. Thank you for volunteering as the bait, Xiangjun" Nie Li gratefully said.
I walked to the front and wait for the Horned Sheep to notice me as I readied my wooden sword. The Horned Sheep noticed and run towards me at full speed. I wait for the Horned Sheep to be at my attack range before I thrust my sword forward, piercing its head. A spirit of the Horned Sheep got out seems to dissipate but my personal world sucked the Horned sheep spirit inside which is only visible to me.
" How did you do that, Xiangjun!? You are so cool back there, piercing the Horned Sheep and killing it instantly! Please teach me your way, oh master Xiangjun!" Lu Piao who had his crossbow loaded, said in excitement as he kneel and bowed. Asking me to teach him how I did the piercing technique.
" Get up and this is quite simple you know, you just had to thrust at a right angle and have a certain level of control. I used the momentum of the Horned Ship and use the appropriate strength to attack, killing it in one strike. All of you can do it with enough training " I said, Nie Li looked at me suspiciously upon seeing my skills. While Lu Piao was listening to my words carefully.
Du Ze also listened and tried to learn from me.

' I accept ' Confirming, a stream of information appeared in my mind as I comprehend the technique at a fast speed. From the description I got, this technique can strengthen my body into that of Chaos itself and can house many Demon Spirits at a higher level. Every time I house a demon spirit, my physique will increase its toughness and durability, making it harder to get injured or slash by anything.
Also, every time I killed a Demon Beast, its spirit will reside in my body. Which is an awesome technique.

Times had passed, and we stayed at the Training ground just to kill Horned Sheep. In that short amount of time, I reached a 3-star bronze fighter. Making me the strongest in this group, making it easier to hunt since my stamina increased from many Horned Sheep getting killed. We accumulated 50,000 DSC in total which is a large amount.
We finally go back to the class and attend but I have a different goal in mind and that is the library. I separated from the trio as I head towards the library to try and see if I can acquire any Cultivation/Soul Techniques.
Reaching the Library, I saw many books ranging from the newest to the oldest book that seems that if you touch them slightly, they will crumble. I first read a book that is in a Native Language and learned many things about the history of Glory City while the next book I read was in a foreign language I didn't understand at first but with my 100x Talent increased in every aspect, it increases my learning ability to anything. Be it language, blacksmith, alchemy, swordsmanship, etc. I can learn things easily.
Soon, I deciphered the language and can finally read it. I moved from books to books and learned new languages in the Library that I didn't notice at the time. By the time I finish reading all of the books in the library, I finally got what I wanted. Five Techniques that are compatible with my Soul Type and Attribute, are Chaos Elements Cultivation Technique, Yin Yang Serpent Cultivation Technique, Harmonized Elemental Cultivation Technique, Destructive Serpentine Cultivation Technique, and Revitalizing Chaos Serpent Cultivation Technique.
These techniques are the ones I created from the thousands of books I've read at the library and their grades are Top Tier or even God-Level in this world. Seeing the five techniques, I'm conflicted about what I will choose. But, I didn't think too long before I conclude to merge all of these Techniques into one and named it, The Yin-Yang Elemental Chaos Ouroboros Cultivation. A technique that is suitable for me to cultivate and reach a higher level. Of course, it is still an incomplete technique as the books I read are limited and are not that strong.
So, this is where Nie Li comes into use for me. I will get what I want from him sooner or later.
