What do you want?
" ALL RIGHT! WHO WANTS TO PLAY FIRE!!!!" I shouted. My rage is fueled, and my body begins to burn. Hotter than before. My fists are engulfed in flames.
" Shiva." Hope exclaimed.
The forceful entry of the avengers caused few of the rooms occupants to be blown back.
" Go, I can handle this." I told Hope.
" Nay Child. You feel will feel the wrath of Thor." Thor raised his fist and punched me in the side of the head. His attack was strong. Definitely stronger than anything I had felt before. It was clear to me that She-Hulk and Red-Hulk both informed Thor of our previous fights. Thor wanted me out of the way as fast as possible.
But during my fights with the Avengers, I had grown stronger, considerably so. It would take more than one good punch to put me down.
As my body fell towards the ground, I caught myself with my hands and used the momentum to swing my legs over my head and kicked Thor in his jaw.
" We don't have time for this kid. Move or I'll move ya." Logan lunged at me from behind.
" Wolverine. This isn't school, but I'll gladly teach you something today." I caught Logan and drilled him in his chest, the smell of burning flesh filled the room as my hot fists tore through Logan's skin. " For what it's worth, I wish it didn't have to be this way. Hope there's no hard feelings when this is over."
" Same to you kid." Logan replied.
His attack was a distraction for Thor. The Asgardian used Logan's distraction to nail me in the side of the head with Mjolnir.
" The gloves are off now, boy. This is your last chance to step aside." Thor spoke.
" You'll burn for that!" The feeling of my own blood flowing from my head, angered me. I threw Logan at Thor, who stopped and caught the man. It the brief moment Thor looked down at the man, I rushed him.
Iron fist tried to stop me, but the heat I was generating was too much for the man to simply get involved.
i nailed Thor in his face, knocking him and Logan out of the room.
" Avengers, how nice of you to join us." Emma and Scott had arrived. And they were not pleased. The moment Scott walked into the room he blasted the Avengers with his optic beams. That blew the rest of the team away.
" Get back! We just want the girl and we'll go1" Spiderwoman shouted at Scott.
The man scoffed and brushed her electric attack aside like it was nothing. Scott then smirked at the woman, a clear taunt.
" Oh, you get nothing. And this time you'll stay gone." Emma told the woman.
The flames erupting off of them were immense, even I was beginning to feel hot. I needed to fall back as long as Scott and Emma were here then I wasn't of much help. Those two together were on another level than any of us present.
Emma raised her hand to attack the Avengers. The blast was strong, far more lethal than anything I'd seen her or any of the others use until just now. Thankfully from out of nowhere a portal opened and a large insignia appeared in the air and blocked Emma's attack. i can't believe it. She was really going to kill them right there. I had wanted to hurt them but killing them was going too far.
" I've got her!" I turned and saw that Thor had returned. He had managed to grab Hope. I turned to attack the man but was stopped by scott.
" Emma... Get Hope. I will handle these two." Scott told the woman as he walked towards iron man and Thor, effectively blowing me off.
This is a mess. A complete and shitty mess.
Scott raised his hand and broke the armor that Iron man was wearing taking him out of the fight.
" Fuck." Tony cursed.
With Emma fighting the others it came down to Thor and Scott.
" Stand aside boy... Or I will call the storm and tear open the sky." Thor spoke.
" You're threatening me with weather?" Scott seemed amused by Thor's threat. Smirking at the man.
Thor spun his hammer around and lightning filled the room. He then charged Scott and swing the hammer down at the man.
Scott in turn swelled with fire, and effortlessly caught Thor's hammer with one hand.
" I am life and death.... You think I fear the thunder and lightning?" Scott asked the man.
Thor continued to try and move his hammer.
Scott, however, was done with the man. He blasted him in his chest with an optic beam that sent him flying.
I took this moment of reprieve to run towards Hope. I needed to get her out of here, before things got too dangerous and with those two here, recklessly flaunting their power, it was already dangerous.
" Come on, we need to get you out of here." I told the girl.
Hope froze and stood still.
" Hope come on." I shouted.
A bright pink flash emerged in front of hope and me and a woman stood between us.
" This. Must. Stop." The woman spoke.
Her voice carried only chaos with it. Her pink and red outfit glowed in the light.
" I don't know who you are. But I'm sure you can feel it too. Destruction is coming." The woman spoke.
Any other day in any other circumstance, I would have been confused. But ever since the phoenix arrived, the sound of destruction has constantly rung in my ears. I don't know how she knew this, but she was right. I am conflicted, this whole mess is just confusing.
" I do, but I don't know what TO do." I told the woman.
" Do what you think is right." She replied.
She then turned her head to Scott and Emma. " Mercy Scott... For all of man and mutantkind. I have seen where this leads." The woman spoke.
" We were simply defending ourselves. They came into our home..." Scott told the woman. And that was true, they did indeed attack first.
" And now they are leaving with me." The woman spoke.
" I want to go too." Hope suddenly spoke up.
" What?" I asked the girl. " Why? They attacked us." I asked the girl.
" He's right. Absolutely not." Scott spoke.
" You said I could leave whenever I wanted you said this wasn't a prison." Hope replied.
And that's true, she's been kept here for so long. And I'd been fighting for so long that I'd forgotten why I came here in the first place. I reached up and placed my hand on Hope's shoulder." Hope, are you sure about this? This could be our people's last chance. Is this what you really want to do?" I asked.
" What would you do if I said yes?" Hope asked.
" I came into this fight to help you out. You're supposed to be the key for our people's future. I can see why Scott doesn't want you to leave. but at the end of the day it is your choice." I responded. I honestly wanted to see our people thriving for the first time. But I couldn't preach freedom and choice while taking away Hope's.
" I want to go." Hope stated.
" Then I'm going too." I replied.
" But."
" No buts. I swore to be there for you if you needed me and I keep my promises. I also feel out of place here. So, hey a change of location might do us both some good." I explained to the girl.
Hope smiled and grabbed one of my hands.
" I will take you both wherever you want to go." The woman spoke.
" No, I won't let you." Scott reached out and tried grabbing the woman but screamed in pain and pulled back in confusion.
" This is not for ill, Scott. It's what needs to be... Until tomorrow." The woman spoke.
She waved her hands and the avengers appeared beside us and with another wave of her hands. We were gone.
Both sides make compelling argument. I guess we'll see at the end who was right.

I'm gonna be honest guys, writing this chapter was hard. So very tiring. But I still tried my best to give you the best i could. Hopefully you guys enjoy this one and look forward to seeing what comes next for our four-armed boy.
