Chapter 13: Chapter 10 war (Phoenix's island)
Arthur pov:
We flflyey for about half a hour for us to reach the island. It was beautiful view the island was brimming with living but the other half is like the dragon's island full of rock and lava.
Fary took me around the island, I got to see different kinds of animal. The Phoenix unlike the dragon only have two elements fire and lightning. Still powerful elements won't dare to oppose them.
Like before after I got introduced to the life on the island. I meet the Phoenix queen but I saw a naked human in lava I blushed.
"Ammmm.... Fary why is there a human in lava?" Arthur look alerted at Fary and ask her.
'They can't sacrifice human as a offering to their gods right?....No Before me she didn't even know a human.'
"Oh that's our queen she like to be a human when she takes a bath."
"Huh guess knew about us before??" Arthur looked surprised.
"Of course we knew, we fly around the 3 continent all the time. I just didn't wanted to creep you out." Fary answer with a smile
"Yeah you right." Arthur acknowledged that he would have attack her and inferno thinking their are dangerous being that want to attack mankind.
The Phoenix queen open her eyes and look at Arthur and said " Hello you must be the human that Fary talk about my name is Elizabeth. Hmm why are you look so surprised?"
Arthur kneel " Nice to meet you Phoenix queen Elizabeth I'm Arthur. I'm surprised because of your human form,the dragon king don't have this kind form from what I saw."
Elizabeth scoff."Oh the old fossil I knew he do that. He always were the one that loves supremacy, he must wanted to intimidate you. But he has a human form."
"Its that so I guess he has a big ego."
Elizabeth laugh."hahahahaha Yes he has one big ego indeed. One so big that I feel he is brave enough to challenge the gods."
"So Arthur what you going to do now. You have visited the 2 most powerful being in the 4 continent."Elizabeth ask ,curious about Arthur next action.
"I'm going to get back to my troops then inform the king. And ask the other 3 general what have they found."
"I see..... Since you are the first mortal not including the dragon to find us Phoenix I will reward."
A bright light embrace Elizabeth. Then a Phoenix appear the size of 3 full grown Phoenix. Elizabeth pluck one of her feather and give it to Arthur.
"Here one of my feather it can save you from life threatening situation."Elizabeth turn back and give it to Arthur
"Thank you I will hope I don't use it though."
"I hope you don't use it too.Now Fary will bring you back. Your man must be worry."
"Yes thank you. I hope see you next time"
Arthur fly back with Fary then Arthur and his army return to the Empire.
King pov:
'Its seems the tracker that I place on Arthur is getting closer.I guess he is returning.' he put his hand on his chin. About 10 minutes later he called two guard he told one to stall Arthur return and the second to call Cyro and Pyro to speed up the invasion of the dwarves.
