Chapter 3: Looking for Vampires.

The next day, we left for Chandragarh and arrived 11 pm. I was terrified to see the terrible natural environment there. Now looking at the environment, the story of the vampire seems to be real. At one point we went to the forest Bungalow. Jayaram the caretaker of the bungalow has already arranged for our stay. We spent the night there.

The next morning I told the colonel, "Do not go to the palace?"

Colonel Niladri Sorkar said that there is daylight in the morning and vampires do not come out in day light. So, I will leave at night. The two of us left for the palace at 11:30 pm. It was 12 o' clock when I reached there. A little further in the lightning, I saw a strange sight. I told the colonel that there was some thing I knew inside the bushes.

The Colonel said," We have come to the demon's abide."

We will see how much here. Then we entered the palaced in fear. It was very dark inside so I lit a torch. When I saw something strange in the torch light, I screamed in fear and fainted. When I woke up the next morning, I found myself lying in the forest bungalow. And Mr.Colonel has gone but on a morning walk as usual. When he come back, I had breakfast and went out with colonel.

After going about one kilometre, the settlement area came in to view. On the left side of the river and on the bank of the river, the ruins of the ancient capital are covered with forest. I also saw a fort on hills body. The fort of course, takes over. After going through the bottom of the fort, I saw a huge ancient Shiva temple. Ranbir Singh's house is in a broken two - storied house next to the temple. The gate collapsed. I came at night so I could not notice all this. There is a dilapidated man standing by the gate. Seeing us, he came forward. The colonel made him talk. Ranbir Singh, a descendant of the dynasty.

Ranbir babu said," You will come in two days so I left Kolkata."

"Yes, I came suddenly. This means that Jayant babu has helped to solve the riddle", said the colonel.

What can I say to thank you? I can't find the language, Colonel. Let's go home and sit down.

You can sit down later, first let me answer a few questions.

Tell me.

Did Golak die in the temple precincts on Thursday night?

Golak is the old gatekeeper of the palace. Ranbir Singh said," Yes, he died in the temple precincts."

He died right before your eyes.

Yes, I mean. I thought I would send him to my nephew Sanjay in Kolkata in the morning. So, what else was I looking for him. Lately I used to see Golak sitting in the temple premises after evening.

When asked, he would say that he died not feel happy. So, I came to the God looking for peace. Golak, I went to the temple to say yes, to look. I was shocked to know how to call the Golak. The lights of the two-storied house next door fell on the temple premises. All can be seen clearly. I was shocked to see what happened to ray? Suddenly he grabbed his chest and fell down. Then he calmed down like a thorn in the side. What did the doctor say?

"Heart failure."

Ranbir Babu, what really came and said heart failure?

My guess is that the doctor came and said that he had committed suicide. Fearing police harassment, you have asked the doctor to talk about heart failure.

Oh! yes. The Golak ate something like cyanide. For some reason, I noticed an instability in his movement lately. His wife died last year. She did not have a son, so the emotional turmoil was the reason for her suicide.

Ranbir Babu, you are two brothers.

I and Sanjay's father Dhananjay. Dhananjay dies of cancer. You have your brother-in-law. Do you know the name, Chandi?

Chandi Babu is there?

It is very difficult to say when Chandi is there or not. His temperament. I gave the responsibility of looking for to the little land that is deposited. But he eats responsibility and wanders around. What is the essence of religion. Let's see the bull of this religion. Where is he getting? I will find it in the temple. Shiva's vehicle should be in Shiva temple. This time I entered the huge temple that I came across.

Going to the courtyard, Mr. Colonel said, "Where was the Golak standing?"

Ranbir Babu showed the bottom of the stairs of the high temple. This is the Golak that used to sit on this staircase. Mr.Colonel pointed to the open yard at the last step of the stairs and said, "That is the bull of religion, the vehicle of Shiva."

Saying that, he went up a few steps of the stairs. Then he blew up the riddle, "Don't even touch bull's leg. Dad, what a blow to the head!"

What's the matter, Colonel?

Ranbir Babu broke the head of the bull. I didn't notice that he had broken his head. He said to get rid of the puzzle. But to no avail. No profit?

No. Never hold the foot of the bulls means that the foot of the bulls will not be caught. If you don't hold your feet, what is left is the bull, that is, the bull. This time hitting the head means hitting the bull's head. The blow will break the head. Then it was said, what a burning father. This glowing word means glowing-glowing-brightness. What is this brightness?

The diamond that King Akbar gave to your predecessor to help the Mughal general King Mansingh to suppress the rebels. For the descendants of Vijay Singh, the diamond made a puzzle by hiding it inside the head of this bull. The story of the diamond given by the king is mentioned in the book the history of king of Chandragarh but it is said in puzzle where it is.

Hey, but who broke the bull's head?

The Golak broke.
