Blair didn't need Cadmus.
So, it'd be better if he stopped this. Yet, he didn't. Or rather, he couldn't.
Blair was weird and clumsy. That's one of the reasons why Hershey was fiercely protective of her. Blair was nice to those who were also nice. This included Cadmus whom she treated with distant politeness.
Nonetheless, that wasn't anything to be happy about.
He was just an entity living in her periphery. She didn't need a guide to the posh world.
She didn't need him. Not even remotely.
So, he cursed out loud, took the chest with all the letters she wrote for him back then, and flung them in the trash.
He wasn't wavering. He wasn't.
'How had I kept them all this time? Why didn't I throw them away long ago?'
And yet, Cadmus was carefully fishing them out of the trash bin like a pathetic loser.
