"Well, anytime that you need me like this, just to listen, I can do that for you, just like you do for me," Listenia said, and I turned my head to give her a kiss.

The two of us fell back in the bed, but soon, Listenia pulled back.

"You should get going. I am sure that the countess is waiting on the step for you," Listenia said with a smile, and I grinned, knowing that would be true.

"She is cute like that. Maybe I will have to take her out for a meal. The clothes and haircut will have to wait," I said, but Listenia shook her head.

"Take her with you, and go get cleaned up before taking her out. Eliza is the countess, after all. If you are her partner, then you should try to look the part if the two of you are going out. People will respect her more if you look presentable. You normally look like this, so they will assume that you are putting in extra effort just for her," Listenia explained, and I nodded.
