Chapter 74: MESSENGER ARRIVES

Susana didn't have to wait long before Mubarak returned with the promised biscuits.

"I hope I didn't take so long ma... I mean Susana." He said.

"You are just on time, where's your cup?" She asked him when she saw that he was not having a cup with him. "Don't be those guys who like smoking over drinking tea."

"Well, I am going to get the cup. I just didn't want to keep you waiting." He answered. He chose to first bring the biscuits instead of heading to the kitchen to get a cup. Susana was treating him well; he wanted to keep it this way. 

"Okay, you go. I am waiting for you," she informed him.

  Mubarak laid a packet of biscuits on the table before turning around to head in the direction of the kitchen. As he walked away, his gait was full of confidence. He was also whistling to himself, anyone could tell that he is in a good mood. It didn't take him long to return with the cup and a stool.
