Chapter 62: SEARCHING FOR THE FIRST MATE

The grandpa listened to the words of the First Mate Manilik. He wanted to stick to his earlier price, but he did not want to lose these prospective future customers. 

Being a vendor of fruits and vegetables in a store that was not on the roadside. He lost out on many customers, what had kept him in business were the several long-term customers who always bought in bulk and knew where to find him deep in his alley store. 

Sailors were always in need of fresh fruits, and vegetables whenever they came to port but more so before they set off on a voyage. If he pleased them, they were going to come back to him. He decided to reduce the price for them.

"Young man, I will agree to work at a loss this time for the sake of our future partnership. I am selling to you the fruits and vegetables at four silver coins per basket. But, you have to buy more than ten baskets." He looked at Manilik and extended his hand while stating his adjusted price.
