Chapter 56: FULFILLED PROMISE

The Sunday Mass had just ended after the believers handed in their tithe and offerings. The congregation was slowly walking out of the church. Yosef had seen Father Silva go through the door leading to the inner office where priests changed from.

"So, Commander Gallo. About the other request, I tabled before you. Can we go back and work on it?" Yosef was impatient and rushed to ask. He had promised Aram to help him out, and the promise was weighing heavily on his mind. Not only when he fulfilled it, could he be contented.

Commander Gallo Francis looked at Yosef with kind eyes, he patted him on the shoulder gently. "Knight Yosef, I understand your urgency but worry not. We don't need to go back to sort this out."

"If you don't mind, let me go and have a brief word with the Father. He may have some news from home, miss home." Commander Gallo Francis told Yosef.
