Chapter 127: First Night

While Yang Ning was panicking at the thought of spending a night with Zheng Liang in his chamber alone, Xiaowei looked towards the closed door anxiously and went to Yang Ning's side. 

She held onto Yang Ning's hand and said, " Milady, you must be tired. You should take some rest." As saying this, she started walking towards the bed that was covered in red and white rose petals while pulling on Yang Ning's hand. 

Yang Ning didn't say anything and simply followed her, still lost in her complicated thoughts. When Xiaowei pushed on her shoulders gently to make her sit on the bed, she quietly obliged. 

"Milady, please sit here. You should sit here like this." Xiaowei adjusted Yang Ning's skirt for her and spread it over the bed in a graceful manner. 

After adjusting her posture, she looked at her with a smile and said, "His Highness must be returning to the chamber at any moment."
