Chapter 77: Jiang Xia's Plan

A man's voice could be heard all of a sudden and it stunned Jiang Xia. When Jiang Xia looked up, she saw a man with combed hair and neat clothes standing in front of her. 

Meeting Jiang Xia's gaze, the man squatted down and repeated the question with a gentle expression.

"The drought has led to a decrease in food production and famine. This is a natural disaster. Even if the higher-ups are willing to manage it, they are powerless."

Jiang Xia studied the man for a moment and revealed a child-like smile. "Although natural disasters cannot be avoided, man-made disasters can."

Jiang Xia was trying to act like an innocent child while saying this. 

She was now going to talk about the drawbacks of society and how the higher-up arrangements can help. She had to pretend to be a naive young girl or she would be arrested and criticized. That is not the life she wanted!

"Man-made disaster?" The man frowned and asked.
