Chapter 257: She is safe in his embrace

There was a knock on the door, and without waiting for an answer, the door was opened and Ethan and Tiana came in. 

They looked at Phoenix, who was sleeping on the hospital bed, and Ashton, who was sitting on the chair next to the bed, "How is she?" Ethan asked with a worried tone.

After knowing that Phoenix had been saved and was sent to the hospital, Ethan and Tiana quickly went to the hospital.

"She's fine now. She was giving sleeping pills, and experienced an anxiety attack, other than that, she was fine," Ashton said.

"Why did that bastard take her?" Ethan asked. 

Ethan's question made Ashton release a dark aura around him. Remembering the room and the scene when he found Phoenix, Ashton clenched his jaw in anger.

He felt a sting on his knuckle when he clenched his bandaged hands tightly. 

Ethan saw the twitch on Ashton's face and saw his bandaged hand.
