Chapter 113: Avoiding

The emperor was playing with his food using the fork while looking at Magnus who seemed so different .

He looked too calm. He didn't steal glances at his majesty at all. In fact, since Magnus entered the dining room, he did not even spare the emperor a glance as if Octavius was not even there. 

This sight made the emperor feel something heavy and stiff inside his chest. It was strangely painful to him to see Magnus who has always stared at him every time they meet each other, now sitting right next to him but acting as if his majesty is not there.

Magnus when he rushed back to the castle after the emperor broke his heart, could not even cry properly. Tears were running uncontrollably down his face while he was just staring blankly at the wall trying to understand why the emperor was lying to him.
