Chapter 189: Interruption

George was out of breath by the time he reached their bedroom where the butler told him Cynthia was, he paused to catch his breath now that there was only this one obstacle between them. He could hear the sound of their son's angelic giggles and knew that John was inside with her.

'Good, John is good for her,'

He only hoped that Deborah was in there as well, John was a handful with his terrible two around the corner and he worried that his wife might be overwhelmed with the events of the day. 

He lowered his head until he felt his chin on his chest and tried to focus on the fact that she was safe and near. 'A gun between the hands of the man who forcibly kissed her?' George swallowed down vile as he had promised his father not to go and beat up Henry, not that George would do that with somebody who was obviously mentally and psychologically unwell until further notice.
