The next morning, a funeral was being held for Sylvia Green.
Henry Robinson was standing in the graveyard, but if it wasn't for Father Samuel who was conducting the ceremony, Henry would've been standing all alone. Not a single person came to Sylvia Green's funeral.
Father Samuel was gracious enough to keep Henry accompanied even after the service was over. He suppressed a sigh of relief when he saw a man approaching.
"I will be on my way then, son, may her soul rest in peace," Father Samuel said to a dazed Henry.
"…I'm sorry for your loss," Garcia said.
Henry didn't even look back, his eyes were on the retreating figure of the priest's body, he half wanted to run after him and ask exactly how her soul would find peace after everything that she had done.
Garcia cleared his throat awkwardly.
"…You're sorry you say? Well, you're the only one sorry, officer, as you can see with your own eyes, the world is not sorry,"
