Chapter 171: A Son for a Son

The news did manage to do Mrs. Edinburgh some real good.

The next morning, Cynthia sent her nanny along with five maids and the butler to check on the condition of the house that had been abandoned for years, she instructed the maids to clean it spotless and asked Albert to prepare a list of everything the house needs when it comes to restorations and stockpile.

Things had worked out great for Cynthia's nanny who remained clueless as to how her family house was obtained once more and accepted Cynthia's request not to talk about the past at all. And Cynthia made a heartfelt request that was not denied this time around by her nanny. The woman who wasn't by any means young anymore was to stop working for house Evans, instead, she was to stay in the mansion as a member of the family while one of the maids who had been working for the mansion for more than a decade would become the head maid and take over many of Mrs. Edinburgh's tasks.
