Chapter 140: Frame Her

"Shi*!" George said. It was only followed by a constant stream of profanities. 

The doctor and the three nurses who were about to enter the room hesitated, but George was oblivious to anybody else's existence anyhow.

Back in the police station when his father collapsed, George and Cynthia both ran to Robert, but the latter just wouldn't come back to them no matter how much they shook him and called out his name. Finally, the Robinsons' main informer got out and offered to take Robert in one of the police cars to the nearest hospital. 

George was literally shredded into pieces. Cynthia saw right through his conflict and told him that she'd never forgive him if he left his father when he was unconscious to be driven somewhere without either of them by his side. George carried his father to the police car with a heavy heart while he watched as men he didn't know or trust escorted his wife into that same cold room that he and his father had to endure.
