Chapter 133: Detective Garcia

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE ORDER CAME FROM THE JUDGE WITHOUT PASSING THROUGH YOU?"

Robert's fist throbbed until the pain reached his elbow when he hit the steering wheel hard as he chased the police car that was taking his son to the police station.

George had declined to meet with detective Garcia that morning, his day was full, and he didn't feel the need to entertain young police blood. The Robinsons already had trustworthy men everywhere, and neither Robert nor Geroge felt compelled to make new connections when the old ones were extremely solid still.  Robert's main informer confirmed that the police department had no business whatsoever with the Robinsons, and so, father and son both assumed that detective Garcia was ambitious, someone who wanted to climb the ladder and approached the Robinsons just for that.
