Settling In
JANUARY 16, 2005
MC POV -
'1 more day until Bella makes it to Forks and 2 until she goes to school and meets Edward and me, of course.' I thought already deciding that I'm going to be in all her classes. 'I mean, I died at 22, so I already know all this stuff, and I look 16 or 17, so I should be able to get into her classes. Honestly, the only reason I want to be in all her classes is to get on Edward's nerves. Really, I've only been here for 2 days, and I already know it is unbelievably easy to get him annoyed.'
Other than that, everything is perfect here. Carlisle still lets me practice my magic and lets me fly wherever I want as long as I stay out of sight from humans. I've gotten along with Alice and Jasper the most since Alice is just nice to everyone, and Jasper is laid back. Emmett is fine, I guess, but we still argue all the time like we're actually siblings and Rosalie is decent as well she just doesn't seem to like interacting with "people" all that much and "people" as in me.
Anyways, today, we were planning on playing baseball since there's going to be a thunderstorm today. I might sit out, but I kinda want to see their faces when I hit it farther than Emmett and run faster than Edward. Carlisle has been watching me when I practice my magic, and he always seems to find something new about it every time. I don't mind when he watches because I know I have no weaknesses, and he's not a bad person, so I trust him.
As I get up from bed, since I'm done monologuing to myself, I make my way downstairs to go make some breakfast for myself. I can't really depend on anyone else to make me food since they never eat human food and don't have the right taste buds for it anyway. I'm just going to make something simple like pancakes, eggs, and bacon and then head out to my little cabin and garden in the woods. After I'm done eating my breakfast, I walk out, and I see that the Cullen kids are about to go and hang out in town.
Alice - Oh hey Reina, want to come with us?
"Nah, I'm about to go to my cabin. I wanted to fly around for a little while and practice my magic some more."
Alice - You sure? We're going to watch a movie!
Emmett - Cut it out. I don't want her to come she talks too much she might ruin the movie.
"You have no room to talk, you dumbass!! Sorry Alice, but I don't spend time with idiots like Emmett, and sadly, he's going to be with you, so I can't go. Bye!!!" I said as I flew up and waved goodbye to her and everyone else except for Emmett.
Don't get wrong. I don't hate Emmett, but I don't love him either. Our relationship is more like a brother and sister who always have to do something to get on the others' nerves even though they didn't do anything to deserve it. He is kinda funny sometimes, too, I guess.
5 HOUR TIMESKIP -
'It's already been about 2 weeks since I've come here.' I thought after I was done watering my garden and fixing up my cabin a little. There's only one more thing that I really want to do now, and that's to find an animal for myself like Maleficient has Diaval. I don't want a raven but something else. I just don't know what would be better. It has to be an animal here, though, since I can't just leave here and wander around until I find something.
I know I won't have to worry about the size since I can change it into any animal. You might be asking, "Then why do you care about the kind of animal to begin with?" The answer to that would be temperament because if I picked a deer, then it would probably run away even if I transformed it into a bear. Deers can be mean, I know that, but people hunt here all the time, so it might think I'm just trying to hunt it.
Honestly, I kinda want an owl or a moose. They are very different, I know, but moose are very scary, and owls are basically assasins that can fly. They are powerhouses in their own right. I could force them to obey me, but I don't want to do that because I would rather have a good connection with the animal I choose. 'I feel like I'm about to play pokemon right now.' I thought, just imagining the possibilities.
'Well, I can worry about that later. There's more important things to worry about, like major events and meeting the werewolves for the first time.' I thought. 'I don't want to change anything, but maybe my being here might change something like the butterfly effect.' Thinking this, I flew up and made my way back to the Cullen house.
Once I got there was when it started raining nonstop. 'I guess we're going to play baseball after all.' I thought, wanting to show off a little. I made my way inside, and everyone was in the living room watching TV. I walked in and laughed at them because I realized that they were watching "The Simpsons" and were so laser focused that they didn't even realize that I was here.
"Wow, y'all have great taste in TV shows." I said with a chuckle.
Nobody answered and were just staring at the TV still.
"Ookayy, well, that's not weird or rude. Hellooo, is anyone gonna answer me?" I said as I waved my hands in front of their eyes.
Carlisle - You shouldn't bother.
"Ahhhh, oh my god, why did you sneak up on me like that?!? Why are they like that?"
Carlisle - They're just being bad kids and aren't listening just because they can. I guess we won't be able to play baseball since we have the perfect weather right now. He said as he turned around and was about to go upstairs.
Emmett - Waiittt!!! Come on, guys, you don't want to play baseball!?!
Rosalie - Fine, fine, we're done watching TV anyway. Let's go, guys. I need to blow off some steam. She said as she looked directly at me and balled up her fist.
A shiver went down my back right after she said that, but I smirked at her and said, "Show me what you got, dAeRrr sister."
